Obagi Clear

Obagi Clear is a product of Obagi system that can be used to correct the uneven skin color and also to reduce the age spots. Obagi Clear is used as a bleaching agent as well as a correcting preparation for the skin and health restoration program of the Obagi Nu-Derm.

Obagi Clear must be used twice a day until expected results are achieved. Morning and evening are the best times of the day when Obagi Clear can be applied, preferably, on the entire face. While applying, care must be taken to avoid the eyelids. Obagi Clear must also be applied to the hairline, over to the ears and the process of application should be a feathering motion starting from the jaw line and ending at the neck. Besides this, a second coat can also be applied for the dark pigmented lesions. Obagi Clear skin cream can be used to lighten the dark areas present in the skin. These dark areas can be freckles, or age and liver spots. Obagi clear is extremely safe and gives no side effects as it contains 4% hydroquinone.

Before using this product, it is important that usage instructions are read and followed thereafter. Few of the usage instructions are given in the following sentences. Always try to apply only a thin layer over the affected areas only. This has to be done twice, on a daily basis. After applying this cream try to have minimum sun exposure and maximize the use of sunscreen agent or other protective clothing so that you can cover your bleached skin, in order to protect your skin and also to prevent recurring darkening on those areas.

Besides following the given instructions, consultation with the Doctor is advised as well. The Doctor should be consulted for advice on the cream and subsequently for any further direction on the application. If, within weeks or 3 months of usage, no improvement is noticed, then you must discontinue the use of this product and seek your Doctor’s advice. If you have very dark skin then you should be more cautious because you may not see the lightening effect of this product as it is not noticeable for such skin tones.

There are some additional points that must be kept in mind while handling and using this product. Always try to keep this and all the similar drugs out of the reach of children as these are highly toxic. This product and similar ones like Obagi blender and Obagi Elastiderm are for the external use only. Always try to avoid their direct contact with the eyes. Sometimes, it may happen that while using this product some of the users of this product experience a mild skin irritation. In case the skin irritation becomes very severe then the usage of this product must be stopped immediately to be followed by a consultation with a physician. Always remember that it must not be used on children who are under 12 years of age unless directed by a physician.
